Although I adore rocking color like yesterday’s sunny look, sometimes I am in the mood for a dramatic look in which only black will suffice. Yesterday was one of those days. I dressed head to toe in these dark classics: a slim pant, cotton v-neck and high platform pumps. To add interest and bring the outfit from boring to fabulous, I slipped on this Urban Outfitters vest. A deep shade of plum with a Victorian pattern, this vest can be fancy or casual and provides a vintage feel. This sparkly vest by Free People would also be a fun addition to an all black ensemble. Try starting with a full slate of black and add onto it – you would be surprised what you can come up with. ♥
