To the Max

July 12th, 2011

tank: J. Crew, skirt: Nordstrom, necklaces: Urban Outfitters, earrings and bracelet: Forever 21

I am pretty obsessed with everything maxi right now. So when I received this printed maxi for my birthday I was delighted! I love maxi skirts that hit at the waist. I think they are so flattering because you can wear a shirt tucked in and it emphasizes your waist like a belt would. The print is very tribal inspired and the colors pop nicely. I love the plain black tank paired with this because it is an ideal canvas for layering necklaces like I did here. I will definitely be packing this outfit for my France vacation later this month! You can vary the look and try a vintage style skirt or even better, animal print.  ♥

Love the print on your skirt! I too have been loving my maxi dresses lately. I wish I actually included some more of them in my 30 for 30 challenge. Nothing better to wear when it’s ridiculously hot out.
