I snagged these little sailor shorts quite some time ago and instead of pairing them with other nautical thing, I took it in the opposite direction. I added a black tee, embellished flat sandals and mixed gold and silver jewelry. I added in red lips for a hint of sexy girliness and pulled my hair back to show them off. The look is a bit messy, which I love and a bit preppy, since the shorts alone are so much so. Taking an item of clothing and styling it so far from how it was intended is refreshing and always results in something unique. ♥
