Neon French Pedicure How To

July 12th, 2012

I love a french pedicure, but for the summer, neon is a must. Lets be honest, neon is a must year round. To mix up my nail routine, I tried out a neon french pedicure and am in love! Check out my how to below for the easy-to-follow steps. Just swap in your favorite neon colors and even try it out as a manicure as well!

Step 1: Prep your nails (cut, file etc) and apply clear base coat

Step 2: Apply 2 coats of your base neon shade, allowing the nails to dry in between coats. I chose this L.A. Girl Flare in neon orange. This one from F21 is similar, and so inexpensive!

Step 3: Using your accent shade, paint a thin line at the tip of your nail. Don’t worry about going onto the skin. I chose OPI i’m indi-a mood for love but pink flamenco is perfect too

Step 4: Take a clean up pen and remove any polish that went on your skin when you drew the line. I used this Sally Hansen clean up pen.

Step 5: Apply top coat (my fave is Out The Door) and voila!

OMG I remember when we used to do this in high school. It is good to see that somethings never go out of style.
