Nautical Winter

After getting back from the bay area yesterday and wearing lots of layers, the warmth I returned to was a bit of a shock to my system. I planned on throwing on a comfy sweater and boots because for the Monday after a long holiday weekend, just getting out of bed is a challenge. Yet with high temps in the forecast, that plan went out the window and I switched in a nautical bat wing top (previously seen here) and paired it with white denim. I definitely do not follow the “rule” to stop wearing white after Labor Day… there should not be any rules in fashion! ♥

    The only rule more lame than no white after labor day is that your shoes have to match your bag. I wear white and mismatch my accessorize with pride!

    I agree there should be no rules in fashion. And I really don’t get that no white after labor day thing anyway, coming from England :-) )

    I found some lovely nautical inspired outfits when I was out shopping on Black Friday (for my sins…!) I love winter whites too, just like Lani above, and I think this outfit is the sort that looks chic all year round. Stripes like this always look so classic.
