Messy Side Braid How To

March 12th, 2012

I have gotten a few requests for a how to of the messy side braid I was wearing in this post (and this one). It is so easy and one of my favorite go-to options when your hair is flat or just a bit too dirty to wear down.

Step 1: Part hair to one side.

Step 2: Tease the crown of your hair using a fine tooth comb.

Step 3: Pin hair over to the parted side using a bobby pin or two.

Step 4: Braid hair (can be regular braid or a fishtail braid).

Step5: Mess up the braid a bit by pulling apart the sections and hairspray to set.

Voila!
