It’s a Wrap!

June 28th, 2011

sunnies: Dior, dress: H&M, shoes: Cathy Jean, bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs

I love wrap dresses – especially Diane von Furstenberg dresses (as previously seen here). However, there are many other (non-designer) wrap dresses on the market that are fabulous as well. I found this bright summery dress at H&M a few years ago and am in love every time I put it on. The print does all the talking so keep a dress this loud simple with just a few accessories like studs and a simple bracelet with plain pumps or flats. Get the look with a DVF dress, this Tibi version or a more affordable option. ♥

I was so honored to be featured on JewelMint’s Favorite Five Blogs of the Week yesterday! My obsession with their jewelry continues…

Oooh, I absolutely LOVE wrap dresses! I have an hourglass shape and wrap dresses work great for me. I own a lot of them. It also helps they’re as comfy as wearing PJ’s. That DVF one looks fab on you.

I have a serious wrap dress obsession; in fact, I recently posted about it. DVF is great, but you’re right – plenty of more affordable designers make great wrap dresses.

Oo cute dress! I struggle a bit to wear wrap dressed because I don’t have curves above only below and I always think they look odd on me. Having said that I’m a big fan of DVF as I think she designs with the female body in mind… great H&M adaptation here. Very summery and you look great with the sunnies.
