Fancy Robe

September 19th, 2011

robe: Anthropologie, leggings & necklace: Target, top: Zadig & Voltaire, shoes: Chinese Laundry

When I saw this printed robe on sale at Anthropologie, I immediately thought of it as a layering device for everyday wardrobe instead of bedroom wear. Although this may technically be intended to wear around the house, I think it is much too pretty to not see the light of day. So I bought it with the intention to wear it out and about and have done just that. The colors are bright and the shape is easy. I have worn this over jeans but here I chose a neutral legging, mostly because I was still in the mood for extra comfort. Would you rock a robe outside the bedroom? ♥

Absolutely I would wear it – especially if it was this beautiful! Very on-trend too, not that I care too much about that, but pjs and robes were all over the Spring 2012 runways. So you’re just ahead of the curve. :)

This doesn’t even look like a robe! It’s too pretty to only be worn in the comfort of your home. Pairing it with leggings was a perfect choice!
