Crochet on Black

Yesterday I was definitely in the mood for a basic outfit. I ended up in black jeans and a black tee and then decided it was a far too depressing outfit for my four year anniversary. With no time left to rethink the whole outfit, I threw on this crochet vest (previously seen here) to liven up the look. This tip is one of my favorites: If you already have a basic outfit you love, throw on a vest, scarf or big piece of statement jewelry to make it feel special. ♥

    I love the ability you have to find something that extra special or different and make an everyday outfit that little bit “more”. I try and do this with my wardrobe, I can’t say I always succeed but I try! I’m trying to accessorise a bit more too, to make things fresh and new this way.
