Belted Button Up

November 10th, 2011

shirt: Loft, leggings: Arden B., cuff: Urban Outfitters, shoes: Victoria's Secret, necklace and belt: Target, bag: Longchamp

This simple white button up is so versatile. How could it not be? It has a classic shape and is long enough to wear over leggings, or even as a dress with another slip dress underneath (since it is pretty sheer). I like to put a belt over it to create a waist and accessorize from there. Yesterday I slipped on this beaded necklace and a sassy pair of red pumps to liven up the basic shirt. The next time I wear it, I plan on layering a vest on top with some warm boots. ♥

I love my white tunic button up shirt. When I originally bought it, it seemed so hard to style, now I love it. You look great with the leggings and red shoes too :) Heather

Going back to the basics is always a good call. And amping them up with a necklace like that? Even better. A tunic like that is a forever staple with good reason.

I love this look – very simple and stylish. Its always the little touches on an outfit that get me, like the thin brown belt, the colourful, eye catching necklace and the leggings partially tucked into those stunning pointy shoes.
    Very nice !

Oo I love the cuff with this outfit. You can’t go wrong with a classic white shirt. I have an oversized one from the European label COS that I wear a lot for work or if I want a little smarter look at the weekend, with my flares. Sometimes simple really is the best!

Great shirt…will have to head to the Loft!
Also, I’m loving adding belts to everything right now. I have a couple of sweater dresses that look brand new thanks to the belt addition.
