A Simple Tank Dress

July 21st, 2011

dress: Loft (France), shoes: Target

One thing I love about summer is the summer dresses. Just one piece to throw on and you are good to go. What’s even better is when the dress comes with a waist cincher like this one. This lucky girl was given this classic dress by my boyfriend’s family a few summers ago in France. The dress is a simple 2 layer cotton tank with a belt that you can wear tied like I do here, or up on one shoulder instead. I have worn this tied up on the shoulder before and added my own brown belt. Many women in France wear simple dresses like this all summer. It is easy and classic but the overall look is effortless chic. Get the look in the US with these finds: ♥

I LOVE this Tank-dress! Reminds me of the polo dresses from a few years ago, except lighter material and no collar or sleeves! This is perfect for the hot summer days, and even the fun summer nights! I need this dress and the french boyfriend and I will be all set!! LOL
