I have been looking all across the web for the perfect dresses for our flower girls. There are so many cute dresses out there, which is making it so hard to choose! I want them to look mega girly and just too precious for words (which I know they will anyways). Here are some of my favorites – let me know what you think! Statement Necklace and Tee

November 27th, 2012

necklace: Illy Couture, tee: Marc Jacobs, leggings: Victoria’s Secret, sweater: Nordstrom

I took my own advice and rocked a statement necklace and tee this last weekend. I love the way a boyish tee looks with a fancy and very girly necklace. This is actually the fiancé’s shirt that I paired with a bright pink necklace. I kept the rest of the outfit pretty neutral, aside from a dark plum draped sweater. It was a perfect mix of comfort and style, allowing me to feel at ease but still fab. ♥

Happy Thanksgiving!

November 22nd, 2012

When I saw this picture I nearly peed my pants. What is going on here? Poor little turkey thinks he is getting all spiffy for a party and has no idea what is in store for him while miss sassy pants tricks him…I wonder what this was an ad for back in the day. Any guesses?

Anyways… Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Make sure to take a moment and count your blessings. This year I am thankful for my family, my friends, my fiancé, my little pup Gaston, Trader Joe’s cookie butter, the latest Twilight movie, LA sunshine and of course, wine. What are you thankful for this year? ♥

Thanksgiving Uniform

November 20th, 2012

Comfy/Fab Thanksgiving Outfit

sweater: Topshop, snood: Topshop, leggings: Dorothy Perkins, ring: Yves Saint Laurent, boots: N.Y.L.A.

I am not one who gets all dressy and formal on Thanksgiving. I prefer a good (stretchy) pair of pants, a snuggly sweater and usually just a pair of big warm socks. If I want to spruce it up from there, I will switch in some boots and play up the accessories. This Thanksgiving uniform is tried and true, so take my advice and adopt it. Why bother getting all fancy when you know you are going to stuff your face, probably get some food on your clothes, and then feel like you are about to pop out of your fancy new skirt? I don’t think so Tim. The checklist: Comfort? Check. Warmth? Check. Fall colors? Check. Fabulous? Checkity check. ♥
