I See, I Buy

March 29th, 2012

After stumbling across these fabulicious Zara heels on Damsel in Dior yesterday, what did I do? I ran to the mall at lunch and bought them! I couldn’t resist, really. There are so many turn-on’s with this particular pair of shoes. The fact that the toe strap is nude means your legs look a hundred miles long. Can we also talk about the orange back? It is totally a case of business in the front, party in the back. I was sold the second I saw them and was even tempted to change into them midday. ♥

Please vote for my outfit here in this shoe styling contest if you haven’t already!

Military and Flowers

March 28th, 2012

tank: Anthropologie, jeans: Vigoss, booties: Urban Outfitters, jacket: bebe

You guys know I am a sucker for a great juxtaposition outfit. Yesterday I paired this military jacket with a tank covered in neon flowers. The floral top paired with the structured jacket is a fun mix of trends. I also think the cropped length of this jacket lends nicely to flowy tops because it doesn’t make the outfit bulky. I paired this look with skinny jeans and lace up booties which act as neutrals and keep the focus up top. ♥

*Don’t forget to vote to get my outfit back in the lead, please!

Knottie Flats

March 27th, 2012

sweater and skirt: F21 (similar skirt), shoes: Rockport via OnlineShoes.com

Ok, I admit these adorable Rockport shoes are anything but naughty. They are just enough chic polish with an air of sweetness. I couldn’t help but pair them with this full skirt and color coordinated mustard sweater to play off the girly vibe. I hope you like the look enough to vote for it! One of my favorite shops, OnlineShoes.com sent these flats over for a shoe styling contest. If you go over and vote, you can get a pair for $20 off! I will also be giving away a pair of these Rockport shoes to one of you (in any of the available colors). Just let me know in a comment below that you went to the Shoe Styling Contest and voted for my outfit! ♥

Check out the other fab Rockport shoes for women – they are so comfy and fab!

Champagne Tunic

March 26th, 2012

tunic: a market in France (similar), leggings: Zara (similar), boots and tank: Target (similar), necklaces (top to bottom): Shabby Apple, jewelmint

This champagne-colored tunic is a great go-to piece. The built-in belt adds a finished feeling even when you throw it on over a simple outfit like this. Here I added all black underneath which helped the tunic look almost golden. The layered necklaces kept the color palette simple but filled up that deep v-neck. This tunic also works great as a cover up in the summer and oh, do I love multi-taskers! ♥
