Style Challenge: Part 5

December 31st, 2011

For the 5th challenge for Jane by Design, I was to take this button up

and accessorize to create a look for the office and for a night out. For the office, I added my new MR Dannijo necklace and a studded belt. I would wear this with a pair of black skinny jeans or a nicer pair of black slacks for a more streamlined and professional look.

For a night out, I added a vest and of course, sparkle! This Anthropologie necklace and gold sequin belt add the pizazz that is necessary to take a plain white button up out on the town. I would wear this look with a pair of ultra tight skiny jeans and my highest heels.

Share how you would style this shirt here and mention my blog! ♥

Style Challenge: Part 4

December 27th, 2011

Part 4 of the Jane by Design Challenge was quite difficult! I had to take this ugly Christmas sweater vest:

and turn it into something I would actually wear. I cut off the cutest part of the sweater, the flowers, and put them on a headband. This look is wearable and could be great for a holiday party. What would you create from this sweater? Share it here and mention my blog! ♥

Style Challenge: Part 3

December 26th, 2011

I wanted to share my fave bag for the 3rd part of the Jane by Design challenge. This purse from JustFab speaks to me because the tan color goes with almost every outfit imaginable and the shimmery accents give it that something extra! I think this bag really represents my style because I like taking basics and adding accessories to create a fun, unique look. Share which of your bags represents you the best here and tell Jane by Design I sent you! ♥

I’ll be home for Christmas

December 22nd, 2011

Today I’m heading back home to Danville for Christmas and I wanted to share the magical wonderland that I will be going home to. My mom is obviously one of Santa’s most talented helpers and turns our home into an unbelievable Christmas utopia.

I am off to enjoy every last morsel of fun, food and family this long weekend has to offer. Happy Holidays! ♥
